Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 22, 2026
Mycro is built around honest numbers, and the same goes for how we handle your data. This policy explains what we collect on this website, why, and what your choices are.
Who we are
"Mycro," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the makers of Mycro, reachable at hello@trymycro.com. This policy covers trymycro.com (the "Site").
What we collect
Information you give us
- Email address — only if you submit the "Notify me" form on the homepage. We use this to send you a single email when the Mycro app launches, and occasionally to follow up about the product if you've explicitly opted in.
- Messages you send us — if you email hello@trymycro.com, we'll have a record of that message and your email address.
Information collected automatically
- Anonymous analytics — we may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool (for example, Google Analytics or similar) to understand things like how many people visit the Site, which pages they view, referrer sources, approximate country, device type, and browser. We configure analytics to avoid collecting personally identifying information where possible (e.g., IP anonymization).
- Server logs — our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically records standard request logs, including IP address and user agent, for security and reliability.
How we use your information
- To send the single launch-notification email you requested.
- To respond to messages you send us.
- To understand aggregate Site usage and improve the product and its marketing.
- To detect, prevent, and address abuse, spam, and security issues.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your information for targeted advertising, and we do not sell it.
Who we share it with
We share the minimum information necessary with service providers who help us run the Site. Today those are:
- Netlify — hosts the Site and processes the "Notify me" form.
- Email service provider — used to send the launch email (we'll name the provider here once selected).
- Analytics provider — to measure anonymous Site usage.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Mycro, our users, or the public.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses a small number of cookies or similar technologies, primarily for analytics. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the Site will still work. If we introduce cookies that require consent in your region, we'll show a consent banner.
How long we keep your data
- Email addresses collected through "Notify me" are kept until launch notifications are sent, plus a reasonable period afterward, or until you ask us to delete them.
- Analytics data is retained per our analytics provider's default retention settings.
- Support emails are kept as long as needed to handle your request and for our records.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws like the GDPR (EU/UK) or the CCPA/CPRA (California), including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights — or simply ask us to remove your email from our list — by emailing hello@trymycro.com. We'll respond in a reasonable timeframe.
You can also unsubscribe from any email we send via the unsubscribe link in the message.
International users
Mycro operates from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand that your information may be processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, though.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we'll take reasonable steps to notify you.
